May 22, 2014 Phase 1A is Complete

Phase 1A of the Relief Line Project Assessment is now complete. In this phase, City/TTC staff reviewed the Proposed Terms of Reference and developed a detailed Public Consultation Plan for the rest of the Relief Line Project Assessment, which will determine the future station locations and route alignment for this rapid transit line. Many Torontonians participated in this work by providing staff with their thoughts and perspectives on how the study should proceed.

The Terms of Reference and Public Consultation Plan will be considered by Planning and Growth Management Committee on May 29, 2014. The Committee will have a chance to review staff recommendations, review comments sent to the City Clerk and listen to deputations before deciding how to proceed. The Committee's recommendation will then be considered by City Council on June 10 and 11.
